Description
Lord Krishna was born to dispel evil on the earth and spread the message of love and brotherhood among us. Just the way your family celebrates your birthday, Janmashtami is celebrated all over our country with lot of gaiety and this festival is known by different names like Srikrishna Jayanti, Gokulashtami, Sree Jayanti etc. He was the eighth child of Vasudev and Devaki and as he grew up he became the apple of eye of everybody around him, charming and playful, courageous to kill the asuras and played melodious tunes on his bansuri(flute) which was admired by all, especially Radha.
Krishna Janmashtami being a very important festival for all the Hindus, they keep fast on this day and worship Lord Krishna by singing songs and performing aarti of Lord Krishna.
All of us resonate with every stage of Krishna’s life. His mischievous childhood, his Ras Lila with Radha and other gopikas, the mesmerizing music on his flute and his guidance to Arjuna in the Kurukshetra battlefield are all relatable.
The parents can tell their children the interesting anecdotes from Krishna’s life to help their wards get acquainted with Indian culture. We wish that this Janmashtami becomes a special occasion when you get together with your family and friends and celebrate while maintaining the Covid protocol
