ORDER CANCELLATION AND RETURN POLICY

ORDER CANCELLATION

You can cancel your order on the website within 24 hours of placing the order, provided that the order has not been shipped. After 24 hours we will not be able to cancel your order and in such cases ‘Wakeup Books’ reserve the right to accept or reject requests for order cancellations for any reason.

There may be certain orders that we are unable to accept and must cancel.  We may also require additional verifications or information before accepting any order. We will contact you (by email/ phone) and inform in case your order is cancelled or if additional information is required to accept your order.

If your pre-paid order is cancelled, a refund will be processed to your original payment method, if the payment was already made.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any order for any reason. The customer agrees not to dispute the decision made by ‘Wakeup Books’ and accept its decision regarding the cancellation.

RETURN POLICY

We have hassle-free procedures in place to ensure that you can return your purchase in case you have found any issue in the quality or size of the item. Please place a return request directly from our website or simply contact us within 24 hours of receipt of product. You may be requested to provide photos of the defective product received.

‘Wakeup Books’ has the full right to decide whether an order return request can be processed or not.  We would not be able to process any returns if it is not reported within the stipulated time period. Replacement/Refund requests will not accepted under following cases:

(i) If the product is used/altered

(ii) If the product is returned without original packaging (price tags, labels & accessories)

(iii) For product that is reported after 24 hours of the delivery

(iv) For products sold under specific promotions (details of which would be mentioned in the product page)

Return request will be reviewed by ‘Wakeup Books’. If required, request will be shared with the merchant for his/her approval. Once approved, the return order will be picked up from the address provided by you while placing the return request and email will be sent to registered email id for pick up related details.  If our reverse pickup service is not available on your address, we will ask you to dispatch the product. The courier charges will be reimbursed by ‘Wakeup Books’. After the product is received, it is verified against your claim and accordingly before initiating Replacement or Refund. We keep you informed of the timelines.

Please note that Replacement would depend upon the stock availability with the respective merchant.  ‘Wakeup Books’ has the full right to decide whether to process Replacement or Refund for the returned product.

REPLACEMENT/REFUND

Replacement product will be shipped within 7 business days (after approval) to the address provided by you while placing the return request.

Refund will be initiated only after the returned product is delivered to the seller. We keep you informed of the timelines.

You should receive your refund within 7 business days after approval. For refund of payments made using a Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking the same will be refunded in the same account as you had made payment from within 7 business days.

You can also choose to have the amount refunded in Wakeup Books Store Credit so you can purchase any product from us without any hassles. In case of order placed using Gift Card, Store Credit, etc., refund will be credited to your Wakeup Books account’s Store Credit. If you used a promo code or discount coupon at the time of purchase, you will be credited only for the final amount you paid.

The Cash on Delivery convenience charge, shipping/handling charge and taxes would not be included in the refund value of your order as these are non-refundable charges.
